Data Recording of Buildings Along Sentiong River Started

Hundreds of buildings along Sentiong river, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok started being recorded by local urban village. It is aimed because along the area will be constructed sheet pile to prevent river overflow due to flood or tidal waves.

Based on the data, the 230 buildings are residential

Sunter Agung Urban Village Head, Suyono expressed a number of buildings along Sentiong river started being recorded, so that it does not hinder the project.

“ Based on the data, the 230 buildings are residential . The socialization will begin in June yet including the discussion whether receive compensation or not,” said Suyono to beritajakarta.com, Thursday (4/9).

Pump Houses will Be Designed in Kelapa Gading

He continued,  the tidal waves which inundate the roads could reach 20 -25 cm. However it can getting worst if flood hit that area. “Based on the information sheet pile will be constructed this year,” he said.

Suryono hoped, the project of pump houses in Sentiong Sunter river could be done soon.  So that in the future, no more flooding due to heavy rain and tidal waves.
